Shokz RMA Procedure March 2023

Please read the below procedure and apply it into your own RMA process for Shokz RMA.

With this new procedure, you are no longer required to send in the defective products, but instead fill out the downloadable form below and return to us.

NOTE: Please save at least 10 products before sending the form back to save everybody some time.

The form has to be filled out correctly and with all required information in order for us to issue a credit note based on that data and information. These are the information that Shokz require:

This information needs to be filled out:
  • Item number # (Running numbers 1, 2, 3 etc.)
  • Warranty Date (The date that the fault is reported)
  • Purchase Date (The date of purchase by the end user)
  • Sourcing (your dealer name)
  • Serial Number (found on the box, the warranty card, or the headset itself, see note below)
  • Falty model (chose from drop down list)
  • Nature and comments (chose from drop down list)
  • Details (detailed error description)
  • Replaced model (no need to fill out)



           


Regarding serial numbers on the products:

On the "old" Aftershokz products, the serial number is printed on the warranty card and the retail box of the product in the same area as the EAN / UPS code.

On the newer Shokz products, the serial number is printed on the warranty card and the retail box of the product in the same area as the EAN / UPS code as well as on the product itself (where you put the magnetic charging cable into the headset) as shown in the picture below:

In cae you have no possibility to obtain the serial number, we will need a copy of the end user receipt for the product in question. That receipt should be in PDF only and should on the copy itself be marked with the "Item number" from the list, as shown in the example below below in order to be able to identify the actual item in question to the receipt at hand:


After the form as been filled out, it should be returned along with any receipt copies in PDF format and sent by email to rma@boston.dk. In the subject of the email, please state your reference number, in case you have one you would like to be present on the credit note.

In case we approve of the RMA, you will receive a credit note shortly after.

When you have received the credit note, you are obliged to destroy of the product by deviding it into to and dispose of it in a safe and invironmentally friendly way, acording to your local regulations regarding disposal of electronics.
